MyTravellite.com Website Terms of Use

These terms of use apply to your use of this website and is a legal document which sets out your rights and obligations and those of MyTravellite in relation to the travel services offered through this site (the 'holiday services'). MyTravellite is a trading name of MyTravel Tour Operations Limited.

Agreement
By accessing, using, browsing or booking on this site you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms of use and you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Any flight or other service you purchase using this site will constitute a legal agreement with MyTravellite. Please note that in order to book flight services on this site you will be required to accept our booking conditions. The booking conditions form the legal contract between you and us and govern the terms on which flight services are offered and sold on this site. 

Nothing in this site shall constitute an offer of goods or services. No contract shall be formed between you and your tour operator until you have received confirmation that MyTravellite has accepted your booking.

Please note, the advertised offer prices shown on this site are excluding taxes and charges. For a full and accurate quote please progress to the "Your Quote".

Who can buy flights through MyTravellite.com?
This site and its travel services are only available to people who, and parties that may, lawfully enter into and form contracts under UK law. You must be aged 18 years or more to book a flight service from this site and there must be at least one adult (18 years or more) travelling on any one booking. Your booking is made direct with MyTravellite. This website is for use by members of the public only to make direct bookings with MyTravellite. We DO NOT accept bookings made by travel agents or other agents on behalf of members of the public. Any bookings made in contravention of this rule will be notified and cancelled. Refunds will be provided but we reserve the right to charge offenders an administration fee of 100 pounds per booking.

On MyTravel Airways your comfort and safety are always a priority. During maternity expectant mothers require a medical certificate stating the duration of the pregnancy and fitness to travel after 28 weeks, however travel is not permitted under any circumstances after 32 weeks. Current medical advice also recommends that mothers with new born babies do not fly within several days of the birth. Other airlines may differ so please ask for current information at time of booking.

Paying for your holiday

a) Booking online by credit card
We accept Solo, Switch, Visa, Visa Delta, MasterCard. We do not accept Electron and American Express (Amex) Please note: there is a credit card transaction charge of 2.5% for flight payments made online. This charge is made to cover the administration charge that credit card companies make to us. This charge will be detailed on your confirmation invoice. There is no debit card charge. Payment for a flight booked online cannot be made using multiple credit cards. If you wish to use more than one credit card to book your holiday please call the call centre. 

b) Booking by Phone
Please note: if you wish to book a flight by telephone there is a 6 pound per person booking fee. To help us process your holiday payment more efficiently we will need to collect your balance payment earlier than set out in the booking conditions (usually 12 weeks) in order to be able to process your flight payment on time. This only applies to bookings made over the telephone. 

Variation of Terms of Use
These terms of use may be revised from time to time. If they are revised, we will post the revised version on this site. The revisions will be effective immediately. Please re-read these terms of use from time to time even if you have previously used this site. By using this site after we have changed the terms of use, you will be deemed to have accepted the changes. If, for any reason, you do not agree to abide by our terms of use, please do not use this site.

Changes to Site
Further, we may change this site at any time without notice by adding or removing discounts, lates, holidays and other features or services. This will be without liability to you. We reserve the right to withdraw offers and discounts at any time and at our discretion. We do not warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate and assumes no duty to update such information. We take every reasonable precaution to ensure that all details on this site are accurate. However, on occasions, errors do occur and this may mean that an advertised flight detail is inaccurate. Please bear this in mind when choosing your flight and check all details with your operator before making your booking. We do not accept liability for any errors or omissions. 

Price
The prices of flights and additional services displayed in search results are in Pounds Sterling (£) and are subject to availability. Each holiday service includes all relevant Air Passenger Duty but may not include any appropriate arrival or departure taxes payable in your chosen holiday destination. You are strongly advised to read and are responsible for reading the Help and FAQ section of the site for further details. Insurance is extra and must be purchased at the time of booking. You may choose from our insurance or if you already have insurance cover of a comparable cover and give us your details, this will be accept instead. Please note: flight only bookings made online do not include in-flight meals. If you wish to book an in-flight meal please continue to book your flight online selecting the flight meal from the optional extras section.

Law and Jurisdiction
Every booking shall be deemed performed in the United Kingdom. This site is not intended for use in jurisdictions outside the UK. English law shall govern each of the bookings made with the relevant operator, including (without limitation) all contractual and other relationships which arise out of such bookings. You and we each submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in relation to any disputes arising out of any booking. If however you have booked your holiday in Scotland or Northern Ireland any disputes may be dealt with in the local Courts in Scotland or Northern Ireland and will be subject to the law of those countries. Alternatively you may choose to have your dispute resolved through the ABTA arbitration scheme. Full details are set out in our booking conditions. 

Passports/Visas/Vaccinations/Foreign Office Advice
All members of the travelling party must each possess a valid passport and visa (if applicable). Be certain to apply in time. You must also ensure you have had all applicable vaccinations before you travel. For up to date information please check the Department of Health Leaflet T5 or consult your local doctor. For up to date specific advice for the country or countries to which you plan to travel, contact the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Travel Advice Unit at www.fco.gov.uk. If you fail to obtain the relevant documentation and vaccinations before you travel you will be solely responsible for any costs, loss or damage which you incur as a result of that failure. We shall not be liable for any such costs, loss or damage. 

Luggage Allowance
Luggage allowance on all flight bookings will include a 20kg per paying passenger luggage allowance in the hold, and 5kg carry on luggage allowance.

Data Privacy
We will respect the privacy of your data which you supply to us in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will comply with all applicable data protection legislation in respect of it. You agree to keep your data accurate and up to date and promptly to send us any new or revised personal data. You further agree that we may use your personal data in the ways advised in our privacy policy. It is your responsibility to keep your passwords confidential and use the security devices offered. Our security measures depend on you complying with this obligation and we are not responsible for any breach of your privacy due to your failure either to keep your passwords secret or to use the other security devices correctly. Nor are we responsible for breaches of security arising out of intentional and/or unauthorised attempts to access the site, for example, by computer hackers.

If you would rather we do not use your personal data for the purposes stated above or for any form of promotional contact, please indicate by ensuring that the tick box to opt in to our email newsletters remains unticked. This tick box is shown on the email registration page or the passenger details page in the booking process. 

Important Note:

Please bear in mind that you will be opting out of receiving any information from ALL the featured operators and selected third parties. However, if you have booked a flight you will still receive an email confirming your booking details.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that are sent to your browser and stored on your computer's hard disc. Whenever you visit mytravellite.com and unless you elect not to receive cookies, then your computer will store an identifying code in the cookie that may mean you do not need to type in your email address each time you return to the site. Other than this, we do not store your password or any other information in the cookie, or use it for any other purpose. Our third-party advertisers may place or recognise a unique cookie on your browser. You can at any time set your browser to notify you before you receive a cookie, giving you the opportunity to decide whether to accept it. You can also set your browser to turn off cookies.

How do we protect your information?

When you provide us with your credit card details or order services from us, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software encrypts the information that you input before it is transmitted to us.

We have strict security procedures covering the storage and disclosure of your information in order to prevent unauthorised access to comply with the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998. This means that sometimes we may ask for proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.
